WHAT IS A PHOTO OP?
It is a professional photo taken with an individual star or a group of actors from your favorite TV show or movie. Each Photo Op includes a glossy 8″ x 10″ print and a downloadable digital version you can download from Digital Copies
Guide to Photo Ops:
-
How many fans in one photo op using one ticket? Four (4) total fans can be in one photo op. A max of 8 people or two (2) purchased photo ops can be done for a photo op for space reasons. Children under one are not counted in your total.
-
When should I arrive for my photo op? No more than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the photo op. Photo op queue lines do not open before then. Please also note that this is queue space dependent. If the queuing area is full, it can delay opening further lines until the space allows. There will be a TV outside the entrance listing sessions, line open times, and scheduled start times. Once a queue line has been opened, the line open time will change to open, and the line numbers for VIP and GA will then be listed.
-
Can I bring props to the photo op? Some guests will allow this, while others will not. If a guest doesn't, you will be informed before entering the booth.
-
Do I need to redeem my ticket before getting in the queue? No, your QR code will be scanned while in line for your photo op.
-
Can I buy photo ops on-site? Yes, but remember that the sales line is cash only. If you wish to use a credit card, you may purchase ops on your mobile device; waiting in line is unnecessary.
-
Can I use my photo op voucher at the event? Photo op vouchers are for online use only; they cannot be used at the sales desk. Here is how to do so: https://indianacomicconvention.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4420169063703-How-do-I-use-my-BONUS-Photo-Op-Voucher You will be emailed a new QR code for your newly purchased photo op.
-
Can I record my photo op or get an autograph in the Photo op Area? No, the photo op booth does not allow personal photos or videos. However, you can purchase autographs in Celebrity Row.
-
What do I do about my glasses so they don't glare? You can either remove them or tilt your head slightly downward from the lights, reducing or eliminating glare. Just to let you know, retakes will not be issued for glasses glare.
-
I picked up my photo in the print pickup area but blinked. What do I do? Immediately inform the print pickup crew that you blinked (if the photographer didn't catch it in the booth, take a second photo). Please do not go to sales or queue lines; you must let the print staff know immediately to ensure you take advantage of the chance for a retake.
-
I have two ops or an op and autograph close to the same time; what do I do? Typically, you will go ahead as scheduled. If you have concerns, please ask one of the staff members in the photo op or autograph area; they can provide some insight. When having ops or autographs close in time, the most important thing to do is to listen to the last calls over the loudspeaker or done by the staff in line.
-
What do I do with my stuff before my photo op? There are tables conveniently located near the booth's entrance. You will place your items on these tables and pick them up upon exiting. Any items you bring in the photo op booth will need to remain in your hands, as putting them on the floor is a trip hazard.
-
Can I chat with the guest while getting my photo op? Photo ops are quick and should not be considered a meet-and-greet.
QUICK TIPS FOR YOUR PHOTO OP
**On the day of your photo op session, you need valid admission to the Indiana Comic Convention. Second, you’ll need to pre-purchase a Photo Op on our website, on your mobile device during the event, or at the Celeb Photo Ops sales desk.

Please make sure you have those QR codes ready (printed or on your mobile device) when you arrive for the day/session of the photo op you purchased.
Make sure to know the time of your photo op. That will be listed by your session number on the day. You can find that closer to the event on the mobile app or website. **Please check that often, as schedules do change*
Once your photo has been taken, please leave the booth, and you will find your items in a bin waiting for you. Grab them, then follow the yellow stripe on the floor, taking you to the print pickup area.
